Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Assist in developing new features and enhancing existing Odoo applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code following Odoo development standards.
- Customize Odoo views, reports, workflows, and security rules.
- Develop and maintain XML views, QWeb reports, and Odoo templates.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and bugs.
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants to understand business requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications using REST APIs and other integration methods.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Maintain technical documentation for developed features and customizations.
- Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and version control procedures.
- Continuously learn new Odoo features, technologies, and development practices.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Python development or Odoo development.
- Good knowledge of Python programming.
- Basic understanding of the Odoo framework and module development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL queries.
- Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience developing custom Odoo modules.
- Familiarity with Odoo.sh and Odoo deployment processes.
- Knowledge of Docker, Linux, and basic server administration.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD, or DevOps practices.
- Basic understanding of OWL (Odoo Web Library) and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with accounting, inventory, CRM, HR, or other ERP business processes.
- Odoo Technical Certification or relevant Python certifications.
- Experience working in ERP, SaaS, or software development companies.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Passion for learning new technologies and continuous improvement.
